DĂ©clic Images is a French company specialized in the translation and sale of anime, Japanese-style comics for the French-speaking world. The DĂ©clic Images trademark was founded in 1999. By 2002, the company produced nearly half of all new Japanese anime published in France. The company's mission is to offer popular series that are accessible to all, containing at a minimum, 26 episodes. DĂ©clic Images produces both recent titles (Love Hina, Fruits Basket, etc.) as well as anime classics such as: Heidi, Girl of the Alps, Heidi, or Masters of the Universe. Kazé was a French publishing company that specializes in anime and manga. Its head office was in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. Founded in 1994, the company debuted by publishing ''Record of Lodoss War'' on VHS. It was owned by Sony through the Crunchyroll EMEA, EMEA division of Crunchyroll, LLC, a joint venture anime business between Sony Pictures and Sony Music Entertainment Japan's Aniplex. After 15 years, Kaze became Kazé in 2010, in hopes that the addition of an accent allowed for a better pronunciation of its name. It published numerous series of Japanese animations in French and became one of the largest independent publishers of video and manga in Europe. This series places more focus on Astro's robotic abilities and has a darker tone than previous incarnations of the series. Although this series places much more emphasis on action scenes than the first one, the theme of "robots with hearts" is still prevalent in this anime. It is a love story between two characters who have not seen each other in years, but were once childhood friends.
