Dimosthenis Manousakis
Dimosthenis Manousakis (Greek: Δημοσθένης Μανουσάκης; born 19 January 1981) is a Greek former professional footballer. Career Manousakis began his professional career by signing with Skoda Xanthi F.C. in July 1998. He never appeared for the club in a league match, instead he went on loan to Nafpaktiakos Asteras F.C. and Egaleo F.C. He also played for Cypriot side Ethnikos Achna FC. He was only the second Lemnian footballer who played in the Superleague Greece, after Vertsonis who had played in Apollon Smyrni in the late '60s International Manousakis first called at national Greek football team U-17 at 1997, which competed in an international tournament in Portugal in February and in France. Indeed, on 03/27/97 scored his first goal in a match at Gabon. Also in 1998 he was a member of the Greece U19 that played in the knockout stage of the European Championship in Scotland. Lemnos
Lemnos or Limnos ( el, Λήμνος; grc, Λῆμνος) is a Greek island in the northern Aegean Sea. Administratively the island forms a separate municipality within the Lemnos regional unit, which is part of the North Aegean region. Greece National Under-21 Football Team
The Greece national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team of Greece and is controlled by the Hellenic Football Federation, the governing body for football in Greece. The team competes in the European Under-21 Football Championship, held every two years. The under-21 competition rules insist that players must be 21 or under at the start of a two-year competition, so technically it is up to an U-23 competition. To be eligible for the Greece National Team, all the football players must hold Hellenic (Greek) nationality and comply with the provisions of Article 15 of the regulations governing the Application of FIFA Statutes. A list of 35 football players must be submitted to the UEFA administration 30 days before the European Under-21 Football Championship opening match. The Greek Football Cup ( el, Κύπελλο Ελλάδος Ποδοσφαίρου), commonly known as the Greek Cup or Kypello Elladas is a Greek football competition, run by the Hellenic Football Federation. Super League
The Super League (officially known as the Betfred Super League due to sponsorship from Betfred and legally known as Super League Europe), is the top-level of the British rugby league system. At present the league consists of twelve teams, of which eleven are from Northern England, reflecting the sport's geographic heartland within the UK, and one from southern France. The Super League began in 1996, replacing the existing First Division and, significantly, switching from a traditional winter season to a summer season.
