DWRT (99.5 FM), broadcasting as 99.5 XFM, is a commercial radio station owned by Real Radio Network Inc. and operated by Y2H Broadcasting Network, Inc. under an airtime lease agreement. Its studio is located at Unit 906-B, Paragon Plaza Building, EDSA corner Reliance St., Mandaluyong, and its transmitter is located at Palos Verdes, Antipolo. History 1976–2006: The first 99.5 RT Trans-Radio Broadcasting Corporation was established in 1971 by Emilio Tuason after he acquired the AM radio franchise ( 980 kHz) of Transit Broadcasting Corporation, owned by the Vergara family. Under Trans-Radio, the AM station adopted the call sign DZTR-AM “Radyo Pilipino” (unrelated to the current AM radio network owned by the Radio Corporation of the Philippines). Seona Dancing (, ) were a 1980s British new wave group, best known for providing comedian Ricky Gervais with his first experiences as a public performer. Although the band experienced little chart success in their home country, their single " More to Lose" went on to become a teen anthem in the Philippines. History While studying at University College London, Ricky Gervais and his friend Bill Macrae formed Seona Dancing, with Macrae writing the music and playing keyboards, and Gervais writing and singing the lyrics. DWRT-AM (990 kHz Metro Manila) was an AM music radio station owned and operated by Trans-Radio Broadcasting Corporation in the Philippines. Since September 9, 2010, the 990 kHz frequency has been airing under the call sign DZIQ-AM, through a blocktime arrangement. History The first AM station owned by Trans-Radio Broadcasting Corporation was 980 kHz, which was acquired from Transit Broadcasting Corporation in 1971. XFM is a Philippine broadcast FM radio network owned by Y2H Broadcasting Network. It is based in Tagum, Davao del Norte. It began its broadcast in February 28, 2022, when a group of mediamen led by Yes2Health CEO Dr. Remelito Y. Uy, took over the operations of RMCBC-owned DXDE-FM in Tagum. This formed the nucleus of XFM until it transferred its base operations to DXSS-FM in Davao City later that year. WRocK Online was a Metro Manila FM radio station and an Internet radio station owned by ACWS-United Broadcasting Network (also operating under the trade name WRocK Entertainment) in the Philippines.
