Colonial Forge High School is a public high school in Stafford, Virginia serving students in grades nine through twelve in the central portion of Stafford County, Virginia. Location and demographics Colonial Forge is located on Courthouse Road, State Route 630, slightly over two miles from Interstate 95 and U.S. Route 1. Colonial Forge's student enrollment is now 55.0% Caucasian, 26.0% African American, 14.8% Hispanic, and 5.5% Asian/Pacific Islander. Stafford is a census-designated place (listed as Stafford Courthouse) in and the county seat of Stafford County in the northern part of the U.S. Commonwealth of Virginia. The population of Stafford County as of the 2010 United States Census was 128,984. Tim Scott (born January 25, 1993) is a former American football safety in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. He played college football at the University of North Carolina. Early years Scott attended Colonial Forge High School. In football, he was a four-year starter, while playing at safety, wide receiver, running back and kick returner. As a junior, he tallied 13 receptions for 221 yards, one receiving touchdown, 22 carries for 173 yards and one rushing touchdown. Accokeek Furnace Archeological Site is a historic archaeological site located near Stafford, Stafford County, Virginia. The Principio Company of Cecil County, Maryland, constructed the Accokeek Iron Furnace about 1726 on land leased from Augustine Washington, father of George Washington. After his death in 1743, his son Lawrence Washington inherited his interest in the company and furnace. When he died in 1752, his share descended to his brother Augustine Washington, Jr. Operations at this site ceased around 1753. North Stafford High School
North Stafford High School is one of the five high schools in the Stafford County, Virginia public school system. It instructs students in grades 9 through 12. History Completed in 1981, North Stafford High School was the second high school to be built in Stafford County. Robert White served as the school's principal from 1981 until 1997. Numerous changes occurred in the school during the next five years under the guidance of principals Henry Johnson and James Stemple including changing the school's colors to the current colors of Navy blue, Columbia blue, and Orange.
