Caroll Edwin Spinney (December 26, 1933 – December 8, 2019) was an American puppeteer, cartoonist, author, artist and speaker, most famous for playing Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch on ''Sesame Street'' from its inception in 1969 until 2018. Early life Spinney was born in Waltham, Massachusetts, on December 26, 1933, to Chester and Margaret Spinney. He had two older brothers Bruce and Glenn. His mother, a native of Bolton, England, named him Caroll despite him being male because he was born the day after Christmas. He drew and painted from childhood, and developed a love of puppeteering when he saw a performance of " Three Little Kittens" at the age of five. This motivated him to purchase a monkey puppet from a rummage sale three years later and put on a puppet show utilizing the monkey and a plush snake. Melinda Caroll (born April 4, 1952, Jacksonville, Florida) is a singer, composer, record producer, recording artist, and lifetime Member of Girl Scouts. She has created and produced music for Girl Scouts since 1989. One Warm Coat Project One Warm Coat started out in 1992 as a Thanksgiving Weekend coat drive in San Francisco. Since then, more than 1 Million coats have been donated in thousands of local communities across North America. The "warm coats" theme came about when Caroll was asked by One Warm Coat to create a theme song about the charitable project. Donna Caroll (28 May 1938 - 31 March 2020) was an Argentine jazz singer and actress. Life and career Born Linda René Abadi in Buenos Aires, in the mid-sixties she won an audition for Canal 11 and was cast in the musical show ''Show 90'', who gave her immediate popularity. After having strengthened her notoriety thanks to the participation to other shows and to a very popular jingle she recorded for Gancia vermouth, in 1966 she recorded her first album, ''Sol de medianoche''. During her career she recorded songs in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese and recorded albums in France, Spain and Puerto Rico. Major General DeRosey Caroll Cabell (July 7, 1861 – March 15, 1924) was chief of staff for the Pancho Villa Expedition into Mexico in 1915–1916 and an American general during World War I. Early life and education DeRosey Caroll Cabell was born in Charleston, Arkansas on July 7, 1861. He attended the United States Military Academy, graduating with the class of 1884. Other classmates included David C. Shanks, Samuel D. Sturgis, William L. Sibert, William Franklin Martin, Robert Houston Noble, Wilds P.
