Prague Open (1987–1999)
The Prague Open was a Grand Prix tennis circuit, Grand Prix and ATP Tour, ATP affiliated men's tennis tournament played from 1987 to 1999. It was held in Prague in the Czech Republic (formerly Czechoslovakia) and played on Clay court, outdoor clay courts. Karel Nováček and Sergi Bruguera were singles title holders as they won two editions each one. Vojtěch Flégl, Karel Nováček and Daniel Vacek were the doubles title record holders with two victories each one. Karel Nováček was also a singles and doubles winner in the same year, and so was Yevgeny Kafelnikov. Guillermo Pérez Roldán
Guillermo Pérez Roldán (; born 20 October 1969) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Pérez Roldán was known particularly as a strong clay court player. He turned professional in 1986. Between 1987 and 1993, he won nine top-level singles titles. His best Grand Slam performance came at the 1988 French Open, where he reached the quarter-finals, beating Alberto Mancini, Tore Meinecke, Patrik Kühnen and Stefan Edberg on the way, before being knocked out by Andre Agassi. Andrei Chesnokov
Andrei Eduardovich Chesnokov (; born 2 February 1966) is a former professional tennis player from Russia. Career Chesnokov's highest singles ranking was World No. 9 in 1991. The biggest tournament victories of his career came at the Monte Carlo Open in 1990, and at the Canadian Open in 1991 (both Tennis Masters Series events). Chesnokov's best performance at a Grand Slam event came at the French Open in 1989, where he reached the semi-finals by eliminating Pablo Arraya, Jonas Svensson, Carl-Uwe Steeb, Jim Courier and the defending champion Mats Wilander in straight sets in the quarterfinals. He was eliminated by the eventual champion Michael Chang in four sets. Franco Davín (; born January 11, 1970) is a tennis coach and a former professional player from Argentina. Davín won three singles tournaments on the ATP Tour, and reached a career-high singles ranking of World No. 30 in October 1990. Davín won his first ATP-tour match at 15 years, 1 month against Hans Gildemeister in Buenos Aires. He holds the Open Era record for being the youngest player to win a tour level main draw match. Nicklas Kulti (born 22 April 1971) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. He was born in Stockholm. Tennis career Juniors Kulti was ranked No. 1 in the junior world singles rankings in 1989 after winning the Australian Open and Wimbledon junior titles, and finishing runner-up at the US Open.
