Céleste Mordenti
Céleste Mordenti (born 25 January 2003) is a Luxembourgish artistic gymnast. She represented Luxembourg at the 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023 World Championships. She is the first gymnast from Luxembourg to win a medal in a FIG World Cup event. Early life Mordenti was born in Munich, Germany, in 2003 to a German father and a French mother. When she was two years old, she moved to Luxembourg. After finishing high school, she moved to the Netherlands to attend Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Gymnastics career 2018–2019 Mordenti competed at the 2018 European Championships where she helped the junior Luxembourg team finish 25th. She became age-eligible for senior level competition the following year and competed at the 2019 European Championships, finishing 58th in the all-around qualifications. Gymnastics Floor
In gymnastics, the floor is a specially prepared exercise surface, considered an apparatus. The floor exercise (English abbreviation FX) is the event performed on the floor, in both women's and men's artistic gymnastics (WAG and MAG). The same floor is used for WAG FX and MAG FX, but rules and scoring differ; most obviously, a WAG FX routine is synchronised to a piece of recorded dance music, whereas MAG FX has no musical accompaniment. A spring floor is used in all gymnastics to provide more bounce and help prevent potential injuries to gymnasts' lower extremity joints due to the nature of the apparatus, which includes the repeated pounding required to train it. The uneven bars or asymmetric bars is an artistic gymnastics apparatus. It is made of a steel frame. The bars are made of fiberglass with wood coating, or less commonly wood. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is UB or AB, and the apparatus and event are often referred to simply as "bars". The bars are placed at different heights and widths, allowing the gymnast to transition from bar to bar. A gymnast usually adds white chalk to the hands so that they can grip the bar better. The vault is an artistic gymnastics maneuver typically performed on a pommel horse or a vaulting table. Both male and female gymnasts perform the vault. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is VT. The apparatus German Friedrich Ludwig Jahn popularized the vault's early forms. Tonya Helene Paulsson (born 28 August 2003) is a Swedish artistic gymnast currently representing Chinese Taipei in international competition. She is the 2019 and 2020 Swedish National Champion and she represented Sweden at the 2018 Youth Olympics where she was part of the Mixed NOC team who won bronze in the mixed multi-discipline team competition. Early life Paulsson was born in Malmö in 2003. Her mother is originally from Taiwan. Paulsson began gymnastics at the age of eight in 2010, after her gymnastics coach neighbor noticed her flexibility and agility on the local playground. Charlotte Booth (born 22 September 2006) is an English-American artistic gymnast currently representing Great Britain in international competition.
