History In April 2023, the Queensland Government decided to reflect the growing population of the region by creating five new localities named Corymbia, Greenstone, Queensland, Greenstone, Lilywood, Queensland, Lilywood, Wagtail Grove, Queensland, Wagtail Grove, and Waraba, Queensland, Waraba by excising parts of the existing localities of Bellmere, Queensland, Bellmere, Rocksberg, Upper Caboolture, Queensland, Upper Caboolture, and Wamuran, Queensland, Wamuran. Corymbia was created from land formerly within Bellmere and Rocksberg. ''Corymbia'', commonly known as bloodwoods, is a genus of about one hundred species of tree that, along with ''Eucalyptus'', ''Angophora'' and several smaller groups, are referred to as eucalypts.
