The Copa Seamen's Institute was a Exhibition game, friendly Association football, football cup match contested by Recreativo de Huelva and the British sailors of the #Seamen's Institute, Seamen's Institute, hence the trophy's name, although it sometimes also called Copa Muñoz, in honor of the donator of the trophy, José Muñoz Pérez, the vice-president of Recreativo de Huelva, who organized and hosted the cup's first edition in 1904. The ''Copa Seamen's Institute'' was not a title decided by a single match, as it was intended to be continually held by the winner of the previous edition, although the team who achieved three consecutive victories would ultimately become the winner, a typically British tradition. The cup was thus held on several occasions from 1904 until 1911 (around 40 in total), when Recreativo became its definitive owner upon achieving its third consecutive victory over the Seamen's Institute; it is the oldest football trophy held by Recreativo de Huelva. The Club Inglés Bella Vista is a cultural institution that exists in the Spanish municipality of Minas de Riotinto, in the province of Huelva. 1903 Copa Del Rey
The Copa del Rey 1903 was the first official staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. It followed the 1902 Copa de la Coronación, held to celebrate the coronation of King Alfonso XIII of Spain, which was won by Club Vizcaya de Bilbao (a temporary combination of Bilbao Football Club and Athletic Bilbao) and given to them permanently. Details The competition was played between 6 and 8 April 1903. Three teams took part: Athletic Bilbao, Espanyol of Barcelona and Madrid FC. It took the form of a round-robin, but the results of the first two games meant that the third game became the final. 1902 Copa De La Coronación
The 1902 Copa de la Coronación (''Coronation Cup'' in English) was a football competition in honour of the coronation of Alfonso XIII of Spain. The Royal Spanish Football Federation does not recognize it as the first season of the Copa del Rey, which began the following year. The competition was thought up after Carlos Padrós, later president of Madrid FC, suggested a football competition to celebrate the coronation of Alfonso XIII. Four other teams joined Madrid for the first competition: FC Barcelona, Club Español de Foot-Ball, Bizcaya (a combination of Athletic Club and Bilbao Football Club) and New Foot-Ball Club. The Campo del Velódromo, also known as Estadio del Velódromo, was a sports venue in the city of Huelva, Spain, that existed between 1892 and 1957.
