A school with the name "Clinton Centre" operated from 1886 to 1950, however this was located in what is now the adjoining locality of Clinton. Winulta, South Australia
Winulta was a town in the Australian state of South Australia on northern Yorke Peninsula around 10 km from Clinton on the Clinton-Maitland road. It was first settled for farming around 1876. The earliest farmers were William Short, Thomas Kenny and John Sharrad. The nearby "Hundred of Tiparra School" opened in 1884, was renamed "Winulta School" in 1891 and closed in 1950. Electoral District Of Narungga
Narungga is a single-member Electoral districts of South Australia, electoral district for the South Australian House of Assembly. It was created by the redistribution of 2016, and was contested for the first time at the 2018 South Australian state election, 2018 state election. It is named for the Narungga people, who are the traditional owners of the lands in most of the electorate. Price is a town and locality on Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. It is within the Yorke Peninsula Council local government area and is north west of the centre of state capital, Adelaide. History and development The township, which was proclaimed on 3 August 1882, is near the northern boundary of the Hundred of Cunningham. It was named by Sir William Jervois, Governor of South Australia 1877–83, after his daughter in law, Florence Annie Price, who married John Jervois, his eldest son. She was a daughter of Henry Strong Price, a pioneer pastoralist of the Flinders Ranges. Boundaries for the locality were created on 27 May 1999 for the "long established name." The principal local industries are grain farming and salt production. Maitland () is a town on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. By road, it is west of Adelaide, south of Port Pirie and north of Minlaton.
