Redland Bay is a coastal semi-rural locality in the City of Redland, Queensland, Australia. In the , Redland Bay had a population of 17,056 people. Since the first European settlers arrived in the mid-19th century, Redland Bay has remained a farming and fishing-based area until the mid-20th century when some of the farms were subdivided and improved transport infrastructure made it possible for residents to commute the 35 kilometres into Brisbane. Eprapah Creek (longitude 153.30º East, latitude -27.567º South) is a sub-tropical stream in Redland City close to Brisbane in South East Queensland, Australia. Old Cleveland Road is a major road in Brisbane, Queensland. It runs from Stones Corner, Queensland, Stones Corner to Capalaba, Queensland, Capalaba in Brisbane, with most of the route signed as State Route 22. Tingalpa Creek
Tingalpa Creek is a creek in South East Queensland. It flows along Brisbane's south east boundary with Redland City Council. On early maps the creek was called both Tunim Creek and Tangulba Creek. The waterway serves as important wildlife corridor on the city's fringe. The creek also provides limited kayaking and fishing opportunities. The creek's water catchment area covers 150 km². Tingalpa Creek has its headwaters in Venman Bushland National Park at Mount Cotton and the Brisbane Koala Bushlands in Burbank. It then flows a short distance through Sheldon to the waters of the Leslie Harrison Dam. The creek below the dam, now tidal, continues along its winding course through Capalaba West, Birkdale and Ransome. Cleveland Point Light
Cleveland Point Light, also known as Point Cleveland Light, is a lighthouse located on the north-eastern tip of Cleveland Point, at Cleveland, Redland City, Queensland, Australia. It overlooks Moreton Bay to the east and Raby Bay to the west. The old lighthouse was established in 1864–1865 as a wooden hexagonal tower. It is one of only two surviving lighthouses of this form, the other being Old Burnett Heads Light. A newer light, constructed of a concrete post, replaced it in 1976, and the old lighthouse was relocated a short distance away, where it stands today. The newer light was removed in 2009. An early 1847 private beacon was replaced by a temporary government light in 1864, and then the permanent tower in 1865. The lens was upgraded twice, in 1874 and 1879.
