Civil Aviation Technology College
The Civil Aviation Technology College (CATC College)(Higher Education Center of Civil Aviation and Airports of the country) is the oldest training centre providing specialized manpower needed by Iran's civil aviation industry, It has been operating since 1938 (officially 1940) the order of Reza Shah Pahlavi. The College conducts its training programs in line with rules & regulations of Iranian Ministry of Higher Education. Also, this centre is a member of the Trainer Plus program of the International Civil Aviation Organization known as ICAO. Also, according to the growing needs of the aviation industry, short-term specialized and in-service courses approved by the Civil Aviation Organization, the International Civil Aviation Organization and the International Air Transport Association are offered in this centre. Farah Pahlavi
Farah Pahlavi (; []; born 14 October 1938) is the former Queen and last Empress () of Pahlavi Iran and is the third wife and widow of the last List of monarchs of Iran, Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Air traffic control (ATC) is a service provided by ground-based air traffic controllers who direct aircraft on the ground and through a given section of controlled airspace, and can provide advisory services to aircraft in non-controlled airspace. In Canada an Aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) is a person who is responsible for signing the maintenance release of certified aircraft and is licensed to do so by the national airworthiness authority, Transport Canada (TC). Akram Monfared Arya is an Iranian-born Swedish aircraft pilot, the second woman to earn a pilot's license to fly aircraft in Iran, after Princess Fatemeh Pahlavi.
