City Tower, Seberang Perai
The City Tower, formerly known as MBSP Tower, is the Local government in Malaysia, local government headquarters of Seberang Perai within the States and federal territories of Malaysia, Malaysian state of Penang. Completed in 2005, it serves as the seat of the Seberang Perai City Council ( ). History Prior to the construction of the building, the headquarters of the Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) was a five-storey building at Butterworth, Seberang Perai, Butterworth. As the local government expanded its workforce and responsibilities, the existing office space became insufficient. In 2001, the city council acquired the present-day site at Bandar Perda from the Penang Regional Development Authority (PERDA) for RM13.5 million. Bukit Tengah
Bukit Tengah is a suburb of Seberang Perai in the Malaysian state of Penang. This area is situated very close to the North–South Expressway. The town is within a proper of a larger town of Bukit Mertajam, which shares the same postcode of 14000. Jalan Bukit Tengah or Bukit Tengah road, forms the main trunk road which passes through the centre of the town. Lim Guan Eng
Lim Guan Eng (; born 8 December 1960) is a Malaysian politician and accountant who served as the Minister of Finance of Malaysia from 2018 to 2020. A member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), he has served as the party's second advisor since 2025. Lim has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Bagan, Member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Air Putih since March 2008. He also served as the 4th Chief Minister of Penang from March 2008 to May 2018, MP for Kota Melaka from August 1986 to November 1999 and 4th Secretary-General of DAP from September 2004 to March 2022. The chief minister of Penang is the head of government in the Malaysian state of Penang. Pakatan Harapan (PH; stylised as HARAPAN; ) is a Malaysian Parliamentary group, political coalition consisting of Centre-left politics, centre-left political parties which was formed in 2015 to succeed the Pakatan Rakyat coalition. Pakatan Rakyat (PR; ) was an informal Malaysian political coalition and successor to Barisan Alternatif (BA). The political coalition was formed by the People's Justice Party (PKR), Democratic Action Party (DAP), and Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) on 1 April 2008, after the 12th Malaysian general election, having previously formed the Barisan Alternatif (Alternative Front) in the 10th general election.
