Cezary Tomczyk
Cezary Józef Tomczyk (born 25 August 1984) is a Polish politician of the Civic Platform. He has been a member of the Sejm since 2007, and has served as secretary of state of the Ministry of National Defence since 2023. In 2015, he served as secretary of state of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland, and as spokesperson for the government of Ewa Kopacz. The Sejm (), officially known as the Sejm of the Republic of Poland (), is the lower house of the bicameralism, bicameral parliament of Poland. Ewa Kopacz
Ewa Bożena Kopacz (; née Lis; born 3 December 1956) is a Polish politician who has served as a Vice-President of the European Parliament since 2019. She previously was Marshal of the Sejm from 2011 to 2014, the first woman to hold the office, as well as Prime Minister of Poland from 2014 to 2015. In addition, Kopacz was Minister of Health from 2007 until 2011. Since 2001, she has been a member of Civic Platform, which she chaired from 2014 to 2016. The Civic Coalition (, KO) is a big tent political alliance currently ruling in Poland. The alliance was formed in 2018 around Civic Platform, in opposition to the then-ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party.
