Mehmet Cevat Rıfat Atilhan (1892 – 4 February 1967) was a Turkish people, Turkish career officer and Antisemitism, antisemitic writer. Known as one of the most prominent Nazi sympathizers in Turkey, he was an initiator of the 1934 Thrace pogroms. Biography He was born in 1892 in Vefa, Constantinople (modern city), Constantinople. His father Rifat Pasha was the Ottoman Governor of Damascus. Cevat Çobanlı (14 September 1870Mesut Aydın, ''Türkiye ve Irak Hudûdu Mes'elesi'', Avrasya Stratejik Araştırmalar Merkezi Yayınları, 2001p. 53./ref> or 1871 – 13 March 1938) was a Turkish military commander of the Ottoman Army and a general of the Turkish Armed Forces who was notable for causing major Naval losses to the Allies during their Dardanelles campaign in World War I. Cevat Güler
Cevat Güler (born 12 March 1959 in Perşembe, Ordu Province) is a Turkish former football player and coach. Coaching career After Karl Heinz Feldkamp resigned at the end of 2007–08 season, he took over the managership and became the first coach to win the Süper Lig by joining a club after the season start. Players of Galatasaray nicknamed him "father" after this success. Following Michael Skibbe's managership control at Galatasaray, Cevat Güler became one of the assistant coaches of the Galatasaray football team. His contract was not expanded by the club after the arrival of Frank Rijkaard in 2009 summer. Güler was appointed manager of Azerbaijani Premier League side Ravan Baku on 12 July 2012. Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı (17 April 1890 – 13 October 1973; born Musa Cevat Şakir; pen-name "The Fisherman of Halicarnassus", ) was a Cretan Turkish author, essayist, ethnographer and travel writer. Early life On April 17, 1890, he was born in Crete, where his father was serving as a High Commissioner, to one of the Ottoman Empire's prominent families, the Şakir Paşa Family. His father, Mehmed Şakir Pasha, held positions as an ambassador and governor in Crete and Athens. His mother was Sare İsmet Hanım from Crete. Cevat Seyit (17 July 1906 – 23 November 1945) was a Turkish footballer. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1928 Summer Olympics. He played for Fenerbahçe for a total of 14 years between 1925 and 1939, and is one of the longest-serving footballers in Fenerbahçe's history. Refi Cevat Ulunay ( Damascas, Syria: 1890–1968) was a Syrian- Turkish writer, and a controversial journalist and novelist during the Ottoman era.
