Callan Rydz
Callan Rydz ( born 3 July 1998) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Rydz topped the 2019 PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit, which earned him his PDC Tour Card he has held since 2020. In the PDC, he has won three ranking Players Championship titles, two Challenge Tours and two Development Tours. He is also a two-time PDC World Championship quarter-finalist. Darts career 2017–2019: Early PDC career Rydz made his PDC European Tour debut at the 2017 Gibraltar Darts Trophy as a UK Qualifier, aged just 18. He was eliminated in the first round by Martin Schindler. At 2018 PDC Q-School, Rydz tried to win a PDC Tour Card, however he missed out on the points table by virtue of countback. 2025 PDC World Darts Championship
The 2025 PDC World Darts Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the 2024/25 Paddy Power World Darts Championship) was a professional darts tournament that was held from 15 December 2024 to 3 January 2025 at Alexandra Palace in London, England. It was the 32nd World Darts Championship to be organised by the Professional Darts Corporation and the 18th to be held at Alexandra Palace. The winner received £500,000 from a total prize fund of £2,500,000. The tournament featured 96 players, with the top 32 highest ranked players on the PDC Order of Merit being seeded through to the second round. 2023 PDC Players Championship Series
The 2023 PDC Players Championship series consisted of 30 darts tournaments on the 2023 PDC Pro Tour. The Top 64 on the Players Championship Order of Merit qualified for the 2023 Players Championship Finals. 2019 UK Open
The 2019 888.com UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the seventeenth year of the tournament where players compete in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was being held for the sixth time at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England, between 1–3 March 2019, and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw is staged after each round following the conclusion of the third round until the final. Gary Anderson was the defending champion after defeating Corey Cadby 11–7 in the 2018 final. 2019 PDC Pro Tour
The 2019 PDC Pro Tour was a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Players Championships and European Tour events are the events that make up the Pro Tour. There were 43 PDC ProTour events held, 30 Players Championships and 13 European Tour events. There used to be UK Open qualifiers as part of this list, but they were abolished in September 2018 as the UK Open was made exclusive for the 128 Tour Card holders, 16 Challenge Tour qualifiers and 16 Riley's qualifiers. Luke Humphries (born 11 February 1995) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked PDC Order of Merit, world number one. He is a former PDC World Darts Championship, PDC World Champion, having won the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship, 2024 World Championship, defeating Luke Littler in the final. He is the reigning World Matchplay (darts), World Matchplay, Premier League Darts, Premier League, Players Championship Finals and PDC World Masters, World Masters champion. 2018 PDC World Youth Championship
The 2018 PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship was the eighth edition of the PDC World Youth Championship, a tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation for darts players aged between 16 and 23. In a change mirroring that of the 2019 PDC World Darts Championship, the field of this competition increased from 64 to 96 players, who competed in 32 groups of three, with the winner of each progressing to the knockout stages. The group stage and knock-out phase from the last 32 to the semi-finals was played at Robin Park Centre, Wigan, on 5 November 2018. The final took place on 25 November 2018, before the final of the 2018 Players Championship Finals. Martin Schindler
Martin Schindler (born 16 August 1996) is a German professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number eighteen. A PDC Tour Card holder since 2017, he has won four ranking titles. He won 2025 Players Championship 8 and has won three PDC European Tours; the International Darts Open and Swiss Darts Trophy in 2024, and the 2025 Austrian Darts Open. Nicknamed "the Wall", Schindler is a two-time major televised event quarter-finalist, reaching the last eight at the World Grand Prix and UK Open, both in 2023. In his youth career, Schindler finished as the runner-up at the 2018 PDC World Youth Championship and won three Development Tours. 2017 Gibraltar Darts Trophy
The 2017 Gibraltar Darts Trophy was the fifth of twelve PDC European Tour events on the 2017 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at Victoria Stadium, Gibraltar from 12–14 May 2017. It featured a field of 48 players and £135,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Michael van Gerwen was the defending champion after defeating Dave Chisnall 6–2 in the 2016 tournament, but he decided not to enter this tournament. PDC European Tour
The PDC European Tour is a series of darts tournaments held across Europe organized by the Professional Darts Corporation. Starting in 2012 with five events, the number of events has steadily risen with eight held in 2013 and 2014, nine in 2015, 10 in 2016, 12 in 2017, 13 in both 2018 and 2019. There were 13 scheduled in 2020 (although that was reduced to four, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic). Only two events took place in 2021, with a return to 13 events in 2022, 2023 and 2024, then 14 in 2025. These events see the top players on the PDC Order of Merit and PDC ProTour Order of Merit compete against players from a tour card holder qualifier and three different regional qualifiers. Currently the prize fund for each tournament is £175,000, with £30,000 going to the winner. The PDC World Darts Championship, known for sponsorship purposes as the Paddy Power World Darts Championship is a world championship competition held annually in the sport of darts. The championship begins in December and ends in January and has been held at Alexandra Palace in London, since 2008. The PDC Pro Tour is a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). They comprise Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA) Players Championships and European Tour events. Only four players have gone on to win at least 30 titles on the PDC Pro Tour. Michael van Gerwen has won the most Pro Tour titles with 89. Phil Taylor is second on the list winning 70 events.
