Cabuçu (Itaboraí)
Cabuçu is a neighborhood in the city of Itaboraí, Rio de Janeiro Brazil. It is part of the 6th district along with Curuzu and São José. It is a typical rural district, with small and medium farms. It borders the neighborhoods of São José, Badureco and Largo da Idéia, the latter being part of the municipality of São Gonçalo. Most of its population is religious (especially evangelicals), so the neighborhood has many churches, 25 in total. The most important church is the chapel of Nossa Senhora Aparecida located next to the DPO (Detachment Policing Ostensibly Cabuçu) that makes the neighborhood processions every year on October 12 (Day of Our Lady Aparecida). Another important church in the neighborhood is the Evangelical Congregational Church located in an area further from the shopping district. Itaboraí
Itaboraí (, ) is a city in the state of Rio de Janeiro (state), Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, that belongs to the Rio de Janeiro metropolitan area. It was founded in 1672. In 2020, it had a population of 242,543. Around the year 1000, Tupi-speaking peoples from the valleys of the Madeira River, Madeira and Xingu River, Xingu rivers, on the right bank of the Amazon River, invaded most of the current Brazilian coast, expelling its previous inhabitants, speakers of languages belonging to the Macro-Jê languages, Macro-Jê linguistic trunk, to the interior of the continent. São Gonçalo () is a municipality in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in the Southeast region. Our Lady Aparecida
Our Lady Aparecida ("Our Lady, the Appeared"), ( or ''Nossa Senhora da Conceição Aparecida'') is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary associated with the Immaculate Conception. Her image, a dark clay statue, is widely venerated by Brazilian Catholics, who consider her as the principal patroness of Brazil. Historical accounts state that the statue was originally found by three fishermen who miraculously caught many fish after invoking the Blessed Virgin Mary. Potholes
A pothole is a pot-shaped depression in a road surface, usually asphalt pavement, where traffic has removed broken pieces of the pavement. It is usually the result of water in the underlying soil structure and traffic passing over the affected area. Water first weakens the underlying soil; traffic then fatigues and breaks the poorly supported asphalt surface in the affected area. Continued traffic action ejects both asphalt and the underlying soil material to create a hole in the pavement. Antônio Fagundes
Antônio José da Silva Fagundes Filho (born 18 April 1949) is a Brazilian actor, playwright, voice actor, and producer. Renowned for his several performances in stage, film and television, where he frequently works in telenovelas. Biography Fagundes was born in the city of Rio de Janeiro but moved with his parents to São Paulo at the age of eight and has lived there for over 30 years.
