Bąków Górny is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zduny, Łódź Voivodeship, Gmina Zduny, within Łowicz County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It lies approximately west of Zduny, Łowicz County, Zduny, west of Łowicz, and north-east of the regional capital Łódź. Łowicz
Łowicz is a town in central Poland with 27,436 inhabitants (2021). It is situated in the Łódź Voivodeship. Together with a nearby station of Bednary, Łowicz is a major rail junction of central Poland, where the line from Warsaw splits into two directions—towards Poznań, and Łódź. Also, the station Łowicz Main is connected through a secondary-importance line with Skierniewice. Łowicz was a residence of Polish Primate (bishop), primates in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Institute of National Remembrance – Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation (, abbreviated IPN) is a Polish state research institute in charge of education and archives which also includes two public prosecution service components exercising investigative, prosecution and Lustration in Poland, lustration powers.
