Brumana Pugliese
Brumana Pugliese S.A. was a Brazilian motorcycle and scooter manufacturer that ceased trading in 1982. Its predecessor companies were Lambretta do Brasil and Pasco Lambretta. Lambretta do Brasil In 1955 Paulo Pascowitch obtained a licence to manufacture Lambretta scooters in Brazil. Brazil's first automotive plant was constructed in Lapa, São Paulo for these purposes. The factory initially manufactured Lambretta LD models but these were replaced by the more modern Series II in 1960. Over 50,000 scooters a year were being built at this time. Pasco Lambretta In 1964 Lambretta do Brasil changed its name to Pasco Lambretta after its founder. A new 175cc machine based on the TV Series III was also introduced. Lambretta () was a brand of motor scooters, manufactured in Milan, Italy, by Innocenti. The name is derived from the word Lambrate, the suburb of Milan named after the river Lambro which flows through the area, and where the factory was located. Serveta
Serveta was a Spanish scooter manufacturer in production between 1954 and 1989. History In 1952 a group of Basque businessmen trading as Lambretta Locomociones SA obtained a licence to build Lambretta scooters in Spain. Production began two years later at a purpose-built factory in Eibar. Sales were good and around 1964 the company began to use the name Serveta SA for its own commercial activities. In 1982 the company changed its name to Lambretta SAL following a change of ownership. A downfall in the company's fortunes saw a further change of ownership in 1985 and production transferred to a shared factory in Amurrio. By the late 1980s sales had fallen even further and scooters were only being built on a made to order batch basis. Production finally ceased in 1989. Motori Minarelli is an Italian motorcycle engine manufacturer. It is part of the Fantic Motor group. History Motori Minarelli was founded in Bologna in 1951 as a motorcycle manufacturer. In 1954 it also began to build mopeds. Two years later Minarelli switched exclusively to 2-stroke engine manufacture and a new 2000 square metre factory was constructed for these purposes. It employed 20 technical staff and produced 70 engines a day. These were sold to companies in Italy, other parts of Europe and South America. In 1967 the company changed its name to Motori Minarelli and opened a new plant in Calderara di Reno. By the 1970s engine production had reached 250,000 units a year.
