Bjarne Møgelhøj (born 14 May 1944) is a Danish politician for the party New Alliance. He joined the party in August 2007 from the position of leader of the Centre Democrats party. 1983–1998 he was the leader of FDB (now part of Coop Norden). He was briefly newscaster on DR2 and is the chairman of the hospital in Hørsholm Hørsholm () is an urban area on the Øresund coast approximately north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The Liberal Alliance (LA; ) is a classical liberal and right-libertarian political party in Denmark. The party is a component of the centre-right bloc in Danish politics. The party's platform is based upon economic liberalism, promotion of tax cuts and reduction of welfare programmes, and a critical, oppositional stance towards European integration. The Centre Democrats (, CD) were a Danish political party. History The party was formed in 1973 by Erhard Jakobsen, a former MP and mayor of Gladsaxe, as a centrist splinter group from the Danish Social Democrats. It participated in both centre-right governments (1982–1988) and centre-left governments (1993–1996). In the 2001 election, it lost its parliamentary representation, a severe setback for the party. In the 2005 election, it got 33,635 votes (1% of votes nationwide). It also ran in several municipalities in the Danish municipal election in November 2005. It also ran in simultaneous elections to the new Regional Councils, except in Region Midtjylland, where a local party official forgot to hand in the required number of voters' signatures before the deadline closed. Coop Norden was a Scandinavian retail chain. It was based in Sweden and owned by three major cooperative retail companies: Sweden's KF (42%), Denmark's FDB (38%), and Norway's Coop NKL (20%). During its years of operation, Coop Norden ran around 1,000 stores and had a yearly turnover of approximately SEK 90 billion. Hørsholm () is an urban area on the Øresund coast approximately north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It covers most of Hørsholm Municipality and straddles the borders neighbouring Fredensborg Municipality and Rudersdal Municipality. Hørsholm proper is developed around Hirschholm Palace, which was constructed in the 1730s, but the town has later absorbed several of the nearby communities that are of much older origins. History Palace and market town Hørsholm was founded in connection with the construction of Hirschholm Palace. Niels Eigtved created a plan for a residence town in 1737 and to stimulate its growth, it was given status as market town in 1739.
