Bianca Andreescu
Bianca Vanessa Andreescu (; born June 16, 2000) is a Canadian professional tennis player. She has been WTA rankings, ranked world No. 4 in women's singles by the Women's Tennis Association, WTA. Andreescu has won two singles titles on the WTA Tour, at the 2019 BNP Paribas Open – Women's singles, 2019 Indian Wells Open and the 2019 Rogers Cup – Women's singles, 2019 Canadian Open, and a Grand Slam (tennis)#Tournaments, major title at the 2019 US Open – Women's singles, 2019 US Open. She is the first Canadian to win a major singles title, and the first to win the Canadian Open in 50 years. Andreescu began playing tennis in her parents' home country of Romania before returning to Canada, the country of her birth. Carson Branstine (born September 9, 2000) is an American-born Canadian tennis player. She achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 192 on 31 March 2025.
