Carson Branstine
Carson Branstine (born September 9, 2000) is an American-born Canadian tennis player. She achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 192 on 31 March 2025. Branstine also reached a best doubles ranking of world No. 203 on 18 September 2017, and a career-high ITF junior ranking of No. 4 on July 17, 2017. She won the 2017 Australian Open and French Open junior doubles titles with Bianca Andreescu. Branstine represented the United States from 2014 to February 2017, but started representing Canada, the birth country of her mother, in March 2017. Early life Branstine was born in Irvine, California, to an American father, Bruce, and a Canadian mother, Carol Freeman, from Toronto. The Texas A&M Aggies women's tennis team represents the Texas A&M University in NCAA Division I NCAA Division I women's tennis championships, intercollegiate women's tennis competition. The Aggies compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The team began play in 1980. Since then the Aggies have won 1 NCAA Championships (2024) and were also the NCAA runner-up in 2013. The majority of program history can be defined by the success of Bobby Kleinecke, who during his tenure as head coach from 1986 to 2011, made 17 NCAA tournament appearances. Elena Olegovna Bovina ( rus, Елена Олеговна Бовина, , ɪ̯ɪˈlʲenə ˈbovʲɪnə, links=no; born 10 March 1983) is a former professional tennis player from Russia.
