Bassem Youssef (born Egypt) is a senior Egyptian-American FBI agent. He was the highest ranking American agent of Middle Eastern and North African descent ever employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation as of 2009, as a Unit Chief in the FBI Counterterrorism Division. Prior to holding this position, Youssef coordinated the national counterterrorism investigation into the Islamic Group, the organization responsible for the first World Trade Center bombing. Bassem Yakhour (; born August 16, 1971) is a Syrian actor, writer and director. Career Born in Latakia to a Greek Orthodox family, Bassem Yakhour graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1993 and joined the Syrian Artists Syndicate on February 16, 1999. Bassem Tamimi (also Bassem al-Tamimi; ; born c. 1967) is a Palestinian grassroots activist and an organizer of protests against Israeli settlement construction in the West Bank. He was convicted by an Israeli military court in 2012 (after being arrested in 2011) for "sending people to throw stones, and holding a march without a permit". In his West Bank village Nabi Salih, Tamimi organizes weekly demonstrations against Israeli settlement. He has been arrested by the Israeli authorities over a dozen times, at one point spending more than three years in administrative detention without trial. Bassem Kamal Mohamed Ouda (, born 16 April 1970), commonly known as Bassem Ouda, is an Egyptian politician who is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP). He served as Egypt's Minister of Supply and Interior Trade between January and July 2013, when he resigned due to the 2013 Egyptian coup d'état. Bassem Ali Marmar (; born 28 March 1977) is a Lebanese football coach and former player who is head coach of club Safa. Starting his playing career at Ahed in 1996, Marmar helped Ahed win multiple titles, most notably the 2003–04 Lebanese FA Cup, Ahed's first major trophy, and the 2007–08 Lebanese Premier League, Ahed's first league title. He was the club's captain from 2007 to his retirement in 2010.
