United Grain Growers
The United Grain Growers, or UGG, was a Canadian Agricultural cooperative, grain farmers' cooperative for grain storage and distribution that operated between 1917 and 2001. History In 1917, the Grain Growers' Grain Company (GGGC) merged with the Alberta Farmers' Co-operative Elevator Company, founded in 1913, to form the United Grain Growers (UGG), which provided grain marketing, handling and supply. UGG was active in grain sales, crop inputs and livestock production services. Dufferin is a rural municipality in the province of Manitoba in Western Canada. The separately administered town of Carman lies near its centre. The National Topographic System or NTS is the system used by Natural Resources Canada for providing general purpose topographic maps of the country. NTS maps are available in a variety of scales, the standard being 1:50,000 and 1:250,000 scales.
