Mintiu Gherlii
Mintiu Gherlii (; ) is a commune in Cluj County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of six villages: Bunești (''Széplak''), Mintiu Gherlii, Nima (''Néma''), Pădurenii (''Coptelke''), Petrești (''Péterháza''), and Salatiu (''Szilágytő''). Geography The commune is situated in the northwestern part of the Transylvanian Plateau, at an altitude of , on the banks of the Someșul Mic River. It is located in northern Cluj County, on the outskirts of the city of Gherla, south of Dej and northeast of the county seat, Cluj-Napoca. CS Rapid București (handball)
CS Rapid București is a Romanian professional handball club based in Giulești, in the northwestern parts of Bucharest. Founded in 1934, they play their home games at the Sala Rapid. The club competes in the Liga Națională, the top division of Romanian handball. They won their first major honour, the League championship, in 1961. The club won the Romanian Cup for the first time in 2004, and their first European honour, the European Cup, in 1964. Rapid achieved the EHF treble. The 1963–64 Women's Handball European Champions Cup was the fourth edition of the premier international competition for European women's handball clubs, taking place from November 1963 to April 1964. The 1961 Women's Handball European Champions Cup was the inaugural edition of the premier competition for women's handball clubs. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end.
