CS Rapid București (handball)
CS Rapid București is a Romanian professional handball club based in Giulești, in the northwestern parts of Bucharest. Founded in 1934, they play their home games at the Sala Rapid. The club competes in the Liga Națională, the top division of Romanian handball. They won their first major honour, the League championship, in 1961. The club won the Romanian Cup for the first time in 2004, and their first European honour, the European Cup, in 1964. Rapid achieved the EHF treble. Domestically, the club has won six league titles and one Romanian Cup. Internationally, they have won one Champions League, one European League, and one European Cup since their inception. Polyvalent Hall of Bucharest () is a multi-purpose indoor arena on the Tineretului Park in Bucharest, Romania. Clubul Sportiv Municipal București, also known as CSM București, CSM or CSM Bucharest, is a professional women's handball team based in Bucharest, Romania, that competes in the Liga Naţională and the EHF Women's Champions League. Founded in 2007, the club has traditionally worn a blue kit since inception. The team has played its home matches in the 5,300-capacity Polyvalent Hall in the Tineretului Park in southern Bucharest. Odense Håndbold (in its first season: Odense GOG and after that Handball Club Odense) is a Danish professional women's handball team, that plays in Damehåndboldligaen, Denmark's premier women's handball league. The team's home court is Sydbank Arena in the city of Odense and they play in orange shirts and black shorts. History The precursor to Odense Håndbold, GOG Håndbold's women's team, won four Danish championships in the 1990's. Odense Håndbold was created in August 2009 as a break-away club from GOG Svendborg TGI and they overtook GOG's license for the league, which was published in a press meeting August 27, 2009 in Odense Idrætshal. Brest Bretagne Handball, also knows as BBH, is a French professional handball club from Brest, Brittany. This team currently competes in the French Women's Handball First League from 2016 and the 2024–25 Women's EHF Champions League. 2024–25 Women's EHF Champions League
The 2024–25 Women's EHF Champions League was the 32nd edition of Europe's premier club handball tournament, running from 7 September 2024 to 1 June 2025. Győri Audi ETO KC were the defending champions and won the tournament for second straight and seventh overall time, after defeating Odense Håndbold in the final. Ikast Håndbold is a Danish professional women's handball club based in Ikast. They have competed in Damehåndboldligaen, Denmark's primary handball league, since 1991. History The club was founded as ''Ikast FS Håndboldafdeling'' on 20 June 1970 as a merger of the handball departments of ''Ikast DUI'' and ''Ikast Skytte Gymnastik Forening''. Ferencvárosi Torna Club is a Hungarian professional women's handball team from Budapest, that is part of the multi-sports club Ferencvárosi TC. Nicknamed ''Fradi'', the team plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, the top level championship in Hungary. They are one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won eleven Hungarian championships and as many Hungarian cup titles. Vipers Kristiansand was a professional handball club from Kristiansand, Norway. The team competed in REMA 1000-ligaen, the top division in the country, since its promotion in 2001. They claimed their first Norwegian championship in 2018, ending an 18 times streak for the champions from Larvik HK. Since then, they've shown strong dominance in Norway and claimed 7 consecutive league titles, 7 cup titles and 5 playoff titles.
