Jeffrion L. Aubry (born February 8, 1948) is an American politician from the state of New York. A Democrat, Aubry represented District 35 in the New York State Assembly from 1992 to 2024; his district comprises East Elmhurst, LeFrak City, and parts of Corona, Woodside, Elmhurst and Rego Park, Queens. Serge Dieudonne Aubry (January 2, 1942 – October 30, 2011) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played 142 games in the World Hockey Association and an NHL coach. Early life Aubry was born in Montreal, Quebec. He played junior hockey with the Sherbrooke Castors and Windsor Maple Leafs. Career Aubry played with the Quebec Nordiques and Cincinnati Stingers. Octave Aubry (1 September 1881, Paris – 27 March 1946) was a French novelist and historian. Biography Aubry, Ernest Seillière, Jean Tharaud, René Grousset and Robert d'Harcourt were the five members of the Académie française elected on 1 February 1946, to replace the many vacancies left by the Nazi occupation of Europe. Nicolas Aubry was a French priest who accompanied Pierre Dugua, Sieur de Monts to Acadia in 1604. There were two other clergy on this expedition, a priest who was to minister to the parish of Port Royal and a Protestant minister. This expedition had as its cartographer Samuel de Champlain. There were also 77 other settlers. Champlain, in his writings, reported a violent quarrel over religion between the Protestant minister and a curé which ended in blows.
