Association Of National Olympic Committees
The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) is an international organization that affiliates the current 206 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Every two years, it gathers all its members at the ANOC General Assembly, in which the ANOC Awards are awarded to NOCs and their athletes since 2014. The association organises the ANOC World Beach Games, a multi-sport event held every two years. History The ANOC was established in June 1979 during the Constitutive General Assembly in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The organization's purpose is for the IOC to manage the general affairs for the National Olympic Committees, to give them their support, advice, cooperation, and recommendations for their development. Spyros Capralos
Spyros Capralos (, born 15 April 1955 in Athens) is a Greek former water polo player and sports executive. He represented Greece at the 1980 and 1984 Summer Olympics. He has been the president of the Hellenic Olympic Committee from 2009 until 2025 and the president of the European Olympic Committees since 2021. He has also been a member of the International Olympic Committee since 2019. Career Champion of Greece in swimming from 1969 to 1975, Capralos studied economics at the University of Athens, and graduated from INSEAD with an MBA in 1979. European Olympic Committees
The European Olympic Committees (EOC; ) is an organisation based in Rome, Italy, consisting of 50 National Olympic Committees from the continent of Europe.EOC members include transcontinental countries Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia and the Russian Federation, as well as Israel, Cyprus and Armenia which are geographically in Asia but due to political-cultural reasons are often assigned to Europe. Randhir Singh (sport Shooter)
Randhir Singh (born 18 October 1946) is an Indian sports administrator and former sports shooter. Singh is noted as one of India's most influential sports administrators. He has held several positions in both Indian and international sports governing bodies, and also had a successful shooting career before retiring from the sport in 1994. Singh began his sports administration career in 1984, while he was still competing as a shooter. Singh has been serving as the President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) since September 2024, and he was previously the Acting President of the OCA from September 2021. The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) is a sports governing body, governing body of sports in Asia, currently with 45 member National Olympic Committees. Talal Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was elected as President of the OCA on 8 July 2023. Neven Iván Ilic Álvarez is a Chilean engineer and sports official that was born on 4 April 1962 in Antofagasta, Chile. He is a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
