Aslı Kalaç
Aslı Kalaç (born 13 December 1995) is a Turkish volleyball player. She is tall at and plays in the middle blocker position. She plays for Fenerbahçe. Kalaç debuted in the girls' youth national team in 2011, and is currently a member of the Turkey women's junior national volleyball team. She wears number 8. She was born on 13 December 1995, in Istanbul. Her father canalized her in the summer of 2006 to volleyball after she was engaged in swimming as a sport for one year. In the beginning, she was coached by Münip Özdurak at Yeşilyurt Women's Volleyball Team. After playing for two seasons at the TVF Sport High School, she signed in July 2011 for Yeşilyurt Women's Volleyball, which competes in the Turkish Women's Volleyball League. She transferred to Galatasaray. She played seven seasons before went to THY. She finally to Fenerbahçe. Turkish Women's Volleyball League
Sultanlar Ligi (''Sultans League''), known for sponsorship reasons as Vodafone Sultanlar Ligi, is the highest professional women's volleyball league in Turkey. It is run by the Turkish Volleyball Federation and began with the 1984–85 season. 14 clubs are currently participating in the league. It is often regarded as the best professional women's volleyball league in the world. Its clubs have obtained significant successes in Europe, European and other international competitions. Eczacıbaşı VitrA, Eczacıbaşı are the most successful club, having won 16 championships so far. It succeeded the former Turkish Women's Volleyball Championship (1956–1984). Girls Youth Volleyball World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Girls' U19 World Championship is the world championship of volleyball for female players under the age of 19 organized by ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB). It was held in U18 age group until 2021. The first edition was staged in 1989 in Curitiba, Brazil and tournaments have been played every two years since then. The most recent tournament was hosted by Croatia and Hungary and won by United States. On 22 March 2022, the FIVB Board of Administration decided to change the age category of the tournament by moving it from U18 to U19 in order to equate it with the Boys' U19 World Championship. China is the most successful nation in the tournament's history, with four titles and one runner-up. Brazil is the second most successful with three titles and four runners-up. 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship
The 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship was the third and final edition of the international volleyball tournament and the world championship for women's national teams under the age of 23, organized by the sport's world governing body, FIVB. The tournament was hosted by Slovenia in the city of Ljubljana from 10 September to 17 September 2017. 12 teams from the 5 confederations competed in the tournament. Turkey defeated the home team in straight sets in the final to claim their first title in the competition. Bulgaria won the bronze medal outclassing Dominican Republic 4–2. Montreux Volley Masters
The Montreux Volley Masters (founded as the Coupe des Nations, later changed to BCV Volley Cup between 1990 and 1996 and to its final name in 1998) was an international invitational tournament for national teams in women's volleyball hosted by the Swiss Volley. Held annually in Montreux, Switzerland since 1984, it was the tournament that opened the international season for national teams. It ceased to exist after 34 editions in 2020. The main objective of this competition was to work as a preparation for more important and prestigious volleyball tournaments organized by the ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB), such as the World Grand Prix, the World Championship, the World Cup and the Olympic Games.
