Arteaga, Coahuila
Arteaga () is a town that is part of the Saltillo metropolitan area located in the Mexican state of Coahuila. It is considered a Pueblo Mágico. It serves as the administrative centre for the surrounding municipality of the same name. Geography It stands some east of state capital Saltillo, on Federal Highways 57 and 54. The municipality covers a total surface area of and, in 1995, reported a total population of 18,907. In addition to the municipal seat, it contains the settlements of San Antonio de las Alazanas, El Tunal, San Juan de los Dolores, Huachichil, Los Lirios, Mesa de Tablas, Bella Unión, Escobedo, and Jamé. Climate Arteaga residents often boast that they have a year-round median temperature of 22 Â°C (72 Â°F), and say theirs is the "most perfect" climate in North America. Arteaga Municipality, Michoacán
Arteaga () is a municipality in the Mexican state of Michoacán, being the largest municipality in Michoacán by area. The municipality has an area of 3,454.71 square kilometers (5.87% of the surface of the state) and is bordered to the north by the municipality of La Huacana, to the east by Churumuco and the state of Guerrero, to the south by Lázaro Cárdenas, and to the west by Coalcomán de Vázquez Pallares, Tumbiscatío, Aguililla and Aquila. In 2020, the population in Arteaga was 20,332 inhabitants (49.5% men and 50.5% women). Compared to 2010, the population in Arteaga decreased by -6.69%. Its the municipal seat is the city of the same name. The municipality is named in honor of General José María Arteaga Magallanes, a 19th-century national hero and governor of the state of Querétaro de Arteaga. Arteaga (footballer, Born 1969)
Moisés García Fernández (born 1 June 1969), known as Arteaga, is a Spanish former footballer who played as a left midfielder, currently manager of Gibraltarian club Europa. Playing career Born in Cádiz, Arteaga made his professional debut with hometown club Cádiz CF, becoming firmly established as a first-team member in 1991–92. In the following season, the Andalusians were relegated from La Liga and he also moved down a division to play for RCD Espanyol. In his first two seasons with the Catalans, Arteaga was instrumental in helping them return to the top flight and immediately finish sixth the following campaign, totalling ten goals in 66 games. He continued appearing regularly for the side until 2000–01, winning the Copa del Rey in 2000.
