The Arnolds
The Arnolds are a Southern Gospel trio and concert promotion company based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Group composition This Southern Gospel trio consists of husband and wife Frank and Vicki Arnold and Sheri LaFontaine, who joined in 1999. Frank Arnold originally started performing at 16 with his family group, which included his parents, sisters Jeanie and Lahona, and little brother Kenny on drums. In the early eighties they added Steve Snodgrass on piano and Dennis Fast on Bass, along with other members who came and went. Their big success came with their album Pearly Gates, which featured six original songs written by Dennis Fast, and recorded with help from Lari Goss in Nashville, Tennessee. At age 21, Frank wanted to become a Southern Gospel concert promoter. Aloysius Arnolds (December 17, 1835 - February 9, 1896) was an American farmer who served as a local official and as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Biography Arnolds was born in Simmerath, Prussia. He received a common school education and became a farmer. He emigrated to the United States, settling in New Coeln in the Town of Oak Creek in 1847. In 1865, he was elected treasurer of that township. Andrew Arnolds is a South African politician of the Economic Freedom Fighters who represented the Western Cape in the National Council of Provinces from 2019 until 2023. Political career Arnolds was a member of the African Christian Democratic Party and served as the Deputy Mayor of Cape Town between 2006 and 2007. He resigned from the ACDP in 2009. Arnolds joined Agang South Africa prior to the 2014 general election. He was on the party's list for the Western Cape Provincial Parliament. The party won no representation in the provincial parliament. Arnolds Krūkliņš (19 February 1914 – 31 January 1994) was a Latvian racewalker. He won the title of champion several times in the Latvian and USSR racewalking competitions and competed in the men's 50 kilometres walk at the 1936 Summer Olympics. Life and career Krūkliņš was born in Suntaži Parish. He won the Latvian championship in the 50 km walk in 1935, when he was 21. In 1936, he was one of three Latvians competing in the 50 km walk at the Summer Olympics in Berlin; he was disqualified. Arnolds Mazitis
Arnolds Mazitis (; 18 July 191315 September 2002) was a Latvian artist and a graduate of the Latvian Academy of Arts in Riga. After the Second World War, he lived and worked in Palmers Green, London. Mazitis created over 1,000 oil paintings, including landscapes, portraits and still life works. Many are in private collections in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, United Kingdom and also in Latvia, where a small collection is held by the Latvian Academy of Arts and the Latvian National Museum of Art in Riga. Arnolds Spekke (or ''Arnolds Speke''; 14 June 1887 – 27 July 1972) was a Latvian historian, philologist, and diplomat. Education He received a doctorate in philology from the University of Latvia in 1927. In 1932 he received a Rockefeller Foundation scholarship and studied in Italy. Diplomatic career From 1933 to 1939, he was the Latvian envoy to Italy, Greece, Bulgaria and Albania with permanent residence in Rome, Italy. Arnolds Tauriņš
Arnolds Tauriņš (10 August 1905 – 20 August 1984 in Milwaukee) was a Latvian footballer and a seven-time champion of Latvia in the 1920s-1930s. Biography For most of his career Tauriņš played with RFK, but he started playing with Amatieris in 1923 (he played again with Amatieris in 1928). A year later he joined RFK as it won its first Latvian Higher League title. Over the eleven seasons that Tauriņš played with RFK he won seven Latvian league titles - the highest number for any Riga footballer in pre-war Latvia, matched only by Kārlis Tīls and Fricis Laumanis of Olimpija Liepāja.
