Armi Hallstén-Kallia
Armi Hallstén-Kallia (1897-1956) was a Finnish feminist. She was the head of the Finnish Women's Association in 1937–1955.Finsk Kvinnoförening 1884-1909. Helsingfors: Suomen Naisyhdistys. 1909 Hallstén-Kallia was born to politicians Onni Hallstén and Ilmi Hallstén. She took a Master's degree in 1923. She worked as a secretary in the Finnish Red cross and at the League of Nations The League of Nations (LN or LoN; , SdN) was the first worldwide intergovernmental organisation whose principal mission was to maintain world peace. It was founded on 10 January 1920 by the Paris Peace Conference (1919–1920), Paris Peace ... in 1926–1936. The Finnish Women's Association (, ) is a Finnish women's rights organisation. It was founded in 1884, and is the oldest women's movement organisation in Finland. The organization was the publisher of a women's magazine, '' Koti ja Yhteiskunta'' (1889–1911), which was edited by Alexandra Gripenberg. It is a member of the International Alliance of Women, that has general consultative status with the United Nations. Gustaf Onni Immanuel Hallsten (5 January 1858, Vaasa – 26 October 1937) was a Finnish secondary school teacher, civil servant and politician. He was a member of the Diet of Finland from 1899 to 1900 and of the Parliament of Finland from 1908 to 1910 and from 1911 to 1917, representing the Finnish Party.
