Andy Oldham
Andrew Stephen Oldham (born 1978) is a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and former General Counsel to Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Education Oldham graduated from the University of Virginia in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts with highest honors. He then studied at the University of Cambridge on a Harry S. Truman Scholarship, receiving a Master of Philosophy with distinction in 2002. He then attended Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the ''Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy'' and a semi-finalist in the Ames Moot Court Competition. Latin honors are a system of Latin phrases used in some colleges and universities to indicate the level of distinction with which an academic degree has been earned.
