Andrés Vilches
Andrés Alejandro Vilches Araneda (born 14 January 1992) is a Chilean footballer who plays for as a forward for Cobresal. Club career From 2015 to 2019, he played for Colo-Colo. In 2023, he played for Ñublense in the Chilean top division. The next season, he switched to Santiago Wanderers. In the second half of 2024, Vilches signed with Cobresal. International career Vilches got his first call up to the senior Chile squad for a friendly against the United States in January 2015 and made his international debut in the match. Personal life His older brother, , is also a professional footballer. Vilches is nicknamed ''Andy'', an affective form of Andrés. Unión La Calera is a Chilean football club based in La Calera, Chile. The club competes in the Primera División de Chile. It was founded as Club de Deportes La Calera on 26 January 1954, after the merger of three teams from the city: ''Condor'', ''Calera Comercio'' and ''Tifón''. The following year, Deportes La Calera joined ''Club de Deportes Melón'' (originated by the merger between Cemento Melón and Minas Navío) to form Unión La Calera. After spending 6 seasons in the second division, the club obtained its first promotion to Primera División de Chile in 1961, where they remained until 1974. In 1985, they returned to top-tier, but they were relegated the incoming season. The 2018 Campeonato Nacional, known as Campeonato Nacional Scotiabank 2018 for sponsorship purposes, was the 88th season of top-flight football in Chile. The 2016 Copa Chile, (officially known as Copa Chile MTS 2016 because of its sponsorship), was the 37th edition of the Copa Chile, the country's national cup tournament. The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División.
