Andreas Grimsø
Andreas Grimsø (2 August 1917 – 3 January 2004) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. A deputy representative, he met at the Storting from 1969 to 1971, and was mayor of Alstahaug Municipality from 1975 to 1983. Career Parlament He was elected deputy representative to the Storting for the period 1969–1973 for the Conservative Party. He replaced Håkon Kyllingmark at the Storting from October 1969 to March 1971. Local politics Grimsø was a member of the municipal council of the former Sandnessjøen Municipality from 1959 to 1964. Alstahaug Municipality
Alstahaug is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the Helgeland region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Sandnessjøen. Some of the villages in Alstahaug include Søvika and Tjøtta. Most residents of Alstahaug live in the town of Sandnessjøen which is situated on the island of Alsta. The characteristic Seven Sisters mountain range is found on the eastern part of the island. Local legend has made this chain of peaks into seven sisters, two adjacent peaks representing twin sisters. Håkon Kyllingmark
Håkon Olai Kyllingmark (19 January 1915 – 12 August 2003) was a Norwegian military officer and businessman. He served as a politician for the Conservative Party of Norway, Conservative Party and was elected to the Norwegian Parliament. Biography He was born at Kjelvik in Finnmark, Norway. His parents were Martin Kyllingmark (1879-1916) and Sigridur Sæmundsdottir (1892-1963). He received an education at the Army Command School in 1934 and the Flyvåpen Flying School in 1937. He had a career in the Norwegian Armed Forces between in 1940 and 1943–1945. He rose to the rank of Captain (land and air), captain in 1944 and Major (rank), major in 1945–1954. Sandnessjøen (historically named Stamnes) is a former municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1899 until its dissolution in 1965. The municipality encompassed the northern part of the island of Alsta in what is now Alstahaug Municipality. Originally, it (briefly) also included all of what is now Leirfjord Municipality as well.
