Analı Kızlı Soup
Analı kızlı soup is a soup from Turkey (Adana, Tarsus, Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, Malatya) which includes meatballs, tomato, bulgur, and chickpeas. 'Analı kızlı' means, literally, 'with daughters and mothers', daughters being the chickpeas, and mothers the bulgur balls (i.e., meatballs covered with a thin layer of bulgur), all in a soup like a yogurt sauce. Kahramanmaraş (), historically Marash (; ) and Germanicea (), is a city in the Mediterranean Region, Turkey, Mediterranean region of Turkey and the administrative centre of Kahramanmaraş Province, Kahramanmaraş province. Gaziantep, historically Aintab and still informally called Antep, is a major city in south-central Turkey. It is the capital of the Gaziantep Province, in the westernmost part of Turkey's Southeastern Anatolia Region and partially in the Mediterranean Region.
