Altona Magic Soccer Club (Commonly known as Altona Vardar SC) is a soccer team based in Altona North, a western suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The Magic currently compete in the second tier of the Australian soccer league system. Founded in 1968, Altona Magic plays out of Paisley Park Soccer Complex. The club has won the Victorian Premier League on 5 occasions in seasons 1995, 1996, 1997, 2008 and 2009. In 2019, Altona made a return to the National Premier Leagues Victoria, following successive promotions in 2017 via the Victorian State League Division 1 and again in 2018 via National Premier Leagues Victoria 2 (West), both seasons Magic were crowned champions. Brunswick City Soccer Club is a soccer club from Brunswick West, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The club was formed in 1970 by local Greek Australians as Thornbury Soccer Club and today has teams playing in Senior Men's, Senior Women's and Junior competitions. Brunswick City currently participates in the Victoria Premier League 1. History Brunswick City's foundations can be traced to the early 1970 when a group of Greek migrants got together for a friendly game of soccer in Thornbury. Kliment Taseski (born 27 May 1991) is an Australian footballer who last played for Green Gully SC in the National Premier Leagues Victoria. Early life Taseski was born in Melbourne, and is the son of Macedonian former footballer Ilija Taseski, who played in the National Soccer League between 1985 and 1989. Before beginning his senior career, Taseski played junior football at Noble Park Suns, and also had short stints at VIS and South Melbourne. Club career Taseski began his senior career with the Victorian Premier League club Altona Magic. Ian Dobson (born 3 October 1957) is an English former football coach and player who is Director of Coaching at Green Gully Soccer Club.. He has won the Victorian Premier League Coach of the Year Award twice. Scott Miller (born 27 September 1981) is an Australian soccer coach, who has previously worked as the head coach of A-League club Newcastle Jets and has performed assistant coaching roles at Fulham, the Australian national team and Aalborg BK. The 2023 National Premier Leagues was the eleventh season of the Australian National Premier Leagues football competition. The league competition was played by eight separate state and territory member federations. John Markovski
John Markovski (born 15 April 1970) is an Australian soccer coach and former player. Markovski played in the National Soccer League (NSL) for Sunshine George Cross, Preston Lions (former Preston Makedonia), Morwell Falcons, Canberra Cosmos, Auckland Kingz, Carlton SC, Melbourne Knights and Perth Glory FC and was known Australia-wide for his excellent free kick taking skills. Markovski is currently head coach of Melbourne Knights and was recently coach of Altona Magic, Preston Lions, Fawkner Blues, Sunshine George Cross, Springvale White Eagles, Sydenham Park, Fitzroy City and Port Melbourne.
