Alcabón
Alcabón is a municipality located in the Toledo (province), province of Toledo, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. According to the 2022 census (Instituto Nacional de Estadística (Spain), INE), the municipality had a population of 743 inhabitants. Toponym The term "Alcabón" is of Arabic language, Arabic origin, and could mean the "cove". It is thought that its origin is due to the presence of some farmhouses, hence its old name was "Alcabón Homes". Location The municipality is located in the Torrijos, Spain, Torrijos region and adjoins the populations of Santo Domingo-Caudilla, Carmena and Santa Olalla, all of which are in Toledo (province), Toledo. Eleanor Of England
Eleanor of England (; – 31 October 1214), was Queen of Castile and Toledo as the wife of Alfonso VIII of Castile. She was the sixth child and second daughter of Henry II, King of England, and Eleanor of Aquitaine. She served as Regent of Castile during the minority of her son Henry I for 26 days between the death of her spouse and her own death in 1214. The Peninsular War (1808–1814) was fought in the Iberian Peninsula by Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom against the invading and occupying forces of the First French Empire during the Napoleonic Wars.
