Alara Şehitler (born 27 November 2006) is a German footballer who plays as a midfielder for Frauen-Bundesliga club Bayern. Club career A native of Ravensburg, Germany, as a youth player Şehitler joined the youth academy of FV Ravensburg, where she played for the boys' team. In 2023, she started her senior career with the reserve team of Bayern Munich, before playing for the first team shortly thereafter. International career Born in Germany, Şehitler is of both Turkish and German descent. She helped the Germany women's national under-17 football team win the 2022 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship. On 29 November 2024, she debuted for the Germany women's national football team during a 6-0 away friendly win over the Switzerland women's national football team. 2023 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship
The 2023 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship was the 20th edition of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship, the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the women's under-19 national teams of Europe. Belgium hosted the tournament on 18–30 July. It was the first women's final tournament held in Belgium. A total of eight teams played in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 2004 eligible to participate. The UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship or simply UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship, is an annual competition in women's football for European national teams of players under 19 years of age. National under-19 teams whose countries belong to the European governing body UEFA can register to enter the competition. In odd years the tournament is also a FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup qualifying competition.
