Andrés Rivero Agüero
Andrés Rivero Agüero (4 February 1905 – 8 November 1996) was a Cuban politician who served as the 12th Prime Minister of Cuba and was elected president of Cuba in the 1958 Cuban presidential election. Early life and education Rivero was born to extremely poor parents in San Luis, Oriente Province (now Santiago de Cuba Province) on 4 February 1905. He taught himself to read when he was 16. Rivero managed to secure a high school education by his own efforts, and obtained a law degree from Havana University (1934). Political career Elected a city councilman in Santiago de Cuba, he quickly became a leader of the Liberal Party, and was befriended by Fulgencio Batista. During Batista's first administration (1940–1944), Rivero served as Minister of Agriculture, and implemented Batista's plan for resettling landless peasants in Oriente Province. Carolina Agüero is an Argentinian ballerina, and a principal dancer with Hamburg Ballet in Hamburg, Germany. Early life Carolina Agüero was born in 1975 in Córdoba, Argentina. She started Argentinian folkloric dancing classes at the age of three, and ballet when she was six years old and studied other dance styles including classical, Spanish, tap and jazz. Fernando Bernabé Agüero Rocha (June 11, 1917 in Managua – September 27, 2011) was a Nicaraguan politician and the founder (1988) and leader of the Social Conservative Party. José Mariano de la Cruz de la Riva Agüero y Sánchez Boquete (3 May 1783 â€“ 21 May 1858) was a Peruvian soldier and politician who was the first president of Peru and the second president of North Peru, a constituent country of the Peru–Bolivian Confederation. Taismary Agüero Leiva (born 5 March 1977) is a Cuban-born Italian volleyball player. Agüero is a village and a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. Its postal code is 22808. There are two churches in the village (Santiago and San Salvador).
