Adam Ledwoń
Adam Ryszard Ledwoń (15 January 1974 – 11 June 2008) was a Polish professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Ledwoń was born in Olesno, Upper Silesia, Poland. He played for Bayer 04 Leverkusen (1997–1999), Fortuna Köln (1999–2000), Austria Wien (2000–2003), VfB Admira Wacker Mödling (2003–2005), Sturm Graz (2005–2007). The last club for which he played for was the Austrian team, SK Austria Kärnten. He played 18 matches for the Poland national team, scoring one goal. Death Ledwoń was found hanged at his home in Klagenfurt in June 2008. Olesno is a town in Opole Voivodeship, Opole Voivodship, in southern Poland, about north-east of the city of Opole. It is the capital of Olesno County and seat of the Gmina Olesno, Opole Voivodeship, Gmina Olesno. History The area near the ancient Amber Road had been settled since the Neolithic era. The Polish Cup in Association football, football ( ) is an annual Single-elimination tournament, knockout football competition for Polish football club (association football), football clubs, held continuously since 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( ). Participation is open to any club registered with the PZPN, Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid or not.
