Abdulhadi Abdulla Hubail al-Khawaja (; born 5 April 1961) is a Bahraini political activist. On 22 June 2011, al-Khawaja and eight others were sentenced to life imprisonment following the suppression of pro-democracy protests against the Bahraini government. Al-Khawaja has previously gone on a series of hunger strikes while serving his life sentence, in protest of the political conditions in Bahrain. Amin Abd Al-Hadi
Amin Abd al-Hadi (Arabic: أمين عبد الهادي‎; 1897–1967) was the former head of the Supreme Muslim Council. Originally a member of the Ottoman parliament, he was later appointed by the British Mandate authorities to a provisional advisory council which served as a legislative body in Palestine dealing with self-government issues in May 1923. In 1929, he was elected a member of the Supreme Muslim Council. He later succeeded Amin al-Husayni as head of the council after Jordan appointed him to the position on December 20, 1948. Awni Abd al-Hadi, () aka Auni Bey Abdel Hadi and Awni Abdul Hadi (1889, Nablus, Ottoman Empire – 15 March 1970, Cairo, Egypt) was a Palestinian political figure. He was educated in Beirut, Istanbul, and at the Sorbonne University in Paris. His wife was Tarab Abd al-Hadi, a Palestinian activist and feminist. Political activity In 1911 Abd al-Hadi, along with Rafiq al-Tamimi were founding members of the Paris-based underground al-Fatat ("the Young Arab Society") nationalist society, which was devoted to Arab independence and unity. He was among the organizers of the Arab Congress of 1913 in Paris. When Faisal I of Iraq arrived in Paris en route to London in December 1918 Ahmad Qadri located Abd al-Hadi introduced him to Faisal who appointed him as the head of the administrative office for the Arab delegation to the Paris Peace Conference, 1919. Abd al-Hadi al-Fadli (December 6, 1935 – April 8, 2013) was an Islamic author and thinker. Life Born near Basra, Iraq, he had a seminary education and also received a doctorate from the University of Cairo. He was a student of Ayatollah Baqir al-Sadr and Ayatollah Khoei. He is known for making accessible books in the Islamic sciences which are studied by traditional seminary students. He has taught in both universities and traditional seminaries (the hawzah). Grand Ayatollah Mirza Abd al-Hadi Husayni Shirazi (; ; 1882 – July 13, 1962) was an Iranian Shia marja' and poet. Abdul Hady Talukdar (1905 – 17 July 1985) was a Bangladeshi academic administrator, educationalist, politician, and former registrar of University of Dhaka.
