Abakhel
Aba Khel is a subtribe of the Mandanr Pashtun tribe. Their settlements are located mainly in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, and include the villages of Zaida, Kaddi, Hund, Shah Mansur, Khunda, Ambar, Panjpir, Beka, Aryan, Lahor, Kheshgi Nowshera Kalan (in the Nowshera District), and Ragastoon. Lineage Aba Khel are descendents of the Mandanr tribe. Mandanr had four sons, Mano, Hazar, Razar, and Mahmoud. Mano had two sons, Usman and Utman. Usman had two sons, Amanzai and Kamalzai. Utman had four sons, Akkazai, Sadozai, Alizai and Kannazai. The descendants of Utman's son Sadozai are called Sadu Zais who were further divided into five families including Aba Khel, Umar Khel, Khadu Khel, Mir Ahmad Khel and Behzad Khel. Mandanr
The Mandanr, also known as Mandar or Mandan are a Pashtun tribe who are a branch of the larger Yusufzai tribe of Pashtuns in Afghanistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Yusufzai
The Yusufzai or Yousafzai (, ), also referred to as the Esapzai (, ), or Yusufzai Afghans historically, are one of the largest tribes of Pashtuns. They are natively based in the northern part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ( Malakand, Dir, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Swabi, Mardan, Bajaur, Peshawar, Tor Ghar), to which they migrated from Kabul during the 16th century, but they are also present in parts of Afghanistan, including Kunar, Kabul, Kandahar and Farah. Outside of these countries, they can be found in Ghoriwala District Bannu (Mughal Khel), Balochistan Sibi (Akazai), Chagai (Hassanzai) and Rohilkandh. Most of the Yusufzai speak a northern variety of Pashto and some southern variety of Pashto (as in case of Mughal Khel) and Afghan dialect Persian. Kaddi
Kaddi (کڈی) (also known as Kaday or کډے in Pashto) is a village in the Swabi District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The inhabitants belong to Aba Khel subtribe of Mandanr Yusufzai Pakhtuns who occupy Swabi and Mardan districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The major khel living in Kaddi include Balar Khel, Taju Khel, Zakarya Khel, Khan Khel and Panj Pao. History The name Kaddi appears to be derived from ''Kada'' which in Pashto refers to a place lower than normal in height. Historically Kaddi had a great natural lake with seasonal birds from Siberia flocking in winter. Majority of the lake was converted into residential area. The present population of Kaddi is likely to have settled here in late 17th century as a spill over from the nearby town Zaida with which they still maintain close economic links.
