75th Colorado General Assembly
The Seventy-fifth Colorado General Assembly is the current term of the Colorado General Assembly, legislative branch of the Colorado state government, consisting of the Colorado Senate and the Colorado House of Representatives, Colorado House of Representatives. The first regular session of the Seventy-fifth Colorado General Assembly convened at the Colorado State Capitol on January 8, 2025, and is set to conclude on May 7, 2025. The second regular session is due to convene in the first week of January 2026. The 75th General Assembly is made up of a record 52% women, 14 in the Senate, and 38 in the House. Colorado is one of only three legislatures in the United States that is majority women. Seal Of Colorado
The Great Seal of the State of Colorado is an adaptation of the territorial seal which was adopted by the First Territorial Assembly on November 6, 1861. The only changes made to the territorial seal design being the substitution of the words "State of Colorado" and the figures "1876" for the corresponding inscriptions on the territorial seal. The first General Assembly of the State of Colorado approved the adoption of the state seal on March 15, 1877. The Colorado Secretary of State alone is authorized to affix the Great Seal of Colorado to any document whatsoever. By statute, the seal of the state is two and one-half inches in diameter with the following devices inscribed thereon: At the top is the Eye of Providence or "All Seeing Eye" within a triangle, from which golden rays radiate on two sides. Faith Winter
Faith Winter (born May 7, 1980) is a Democratic Party legislator in the U.S. State of Colorado. She represents District 25 in the Colorado State Senate. Stephen Fenberg (born January 2, 1984) is an American politician who serves in the Colorado Senate from the 18th district, since 2017, as a member of the Democratic Party.
