2022 Moto3 World Championship
The 2022 FIM Moto3 World Championship is a part of the 74th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Teams and riders All teams use Dunlop tyres. Team changes * Petronas Sprinta Racing will withdraw from the category at the end of the 2021 season following the loss of their sponsor. The team will continue under the same management and different sponsor in the MotoGP class. * A new British team, run by former rider Michael Laverty, will join the championship with the aim of providing British riders with a stepping stone into the world championship starting from the British Talent Cup which was established in 2018. The team will be sponsored by VisionTrack, and are expected to take over the Honda bikes vacated by the Petronas SRT team. * Gresini Racing, who have competed from 2012 until 2021, will leave the championship to focus on their Moto2 and MotoGP teams. * Team MTA, which has competed in the CIV since 2017 and the CEV since 2019, will make their return to the ...

The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM; en, International Motorcycling Federation) is the global governing/sanctioning body of motorcycle racing. It represents 116 national motorcycle federations that are divided into six regional continental unions. Joshua Whatley (born 2 September 2005) is a British Grand Prix motorcycle racer competing in the Moto3 World Championship for the VisionTrack Racing Team. Career Between 2019 and 2021, Whatley competed in the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship. Whatley was signed to VisionTrack Racing Team alongside Scott Ogden for the 2022 campaign. Scott Ogden
Scott Ogden (born 16 October 2003) is an English Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing in his inaugural Moto3 World Championship for Michael Laverty's VisionTrack Racing Team during 2022. He won the Motostar Moto3 (Standard) British Championship in 2019, and spent 2020 and 2021 in the Spanish (CEV) Junior World Championship. Career Moto3 World Championship Ogden crashed out of the first Moto3 race of the season at Losail on lap seven of 18, when running in 19th place. In the second race at Mandalika, he scored three points with a 13th-place finish. In the third race of the season at Argentina on 3 April, Ogden failed to finish the race, pitting six laps before the end. For the fourth race of the season at Circuit of the Americas near Austin, Texas on 10 April, Ogden finished in 12th position, scoring four championship points.

Riccardo Rossi (born 21 March 2002) is an Italian motorcycle rider, currently competing in Moto3 for Sic58 Squadra Corse. Career Early career His passion for motorcycles started early, with the first experiences in mini-moto and with the participation in the MiniGP Italian Championship. In 2015 it started to get serious and Riccardo took part to the CIV, in the PreMoto3 category, with the 125 of the SIC58 Team. Lorenzo Fellon (born 15 July 2004) is a French motorcycle rider, competing in the Moto3 World Championship for CIP Green Power Team. Career Early career 2019 During the 2019 season, Lorenzo Fellon participated in the 2019 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. His season was good, he finished all twelve races of the championship in the points. His best result was a fourth place finish in the last race of the season at Aragón. Sic58 Squadra Corse is an Italian motorcycle racing team founded by Paolo Simoncelli in honour of his son, Marco Simoncelli (1987–2011). The team competes in the Moto3 World Championship and MotoE World Cup under the name Ongetta Sic58 Squadracorse, and the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship and European Talent Cup. Dennis Foggia (born 7 January 2001) is an Italian motorcycle rider who is scheduled to compete in the 2023 Moto2 World Championship, riding for Italtrans Racing Team. He previously competed in Moto3, becoming the 2021 runner-up. Career Early career Foggia made his debut in motorcycle racing at age 15, during the 2016 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, riding for the VR46 Riders Academy team, along with Celestino Vietti. Leopard Racing is a Luxembourg–Italian motorcycle racing team competing in the Moto3 class of the FIM Grand Prix World Championship. The team has won two Moto3 Teams' Championships. History Leopard Racing was founded by Flavio Becca at the end of 2014 with the intention of participating in the Moto3 World Championship the following year.
