Sic58 Squadra Corse is an Italian motorcycle racing team founded by Paolo Simoncelli in honour of his son, Marco Simoncelli (1987–2011). The team competes in the Moto3 World Championship and MotoE World Cup under the name Ongetta Sic58 Squadracorse, and the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship and European Talent Cup. Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli
The Misano World Circuit (officially known as Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli or Misano Circuit Sic 58, and before 2006 called Circuito Internazionale Santa Monica) is a race track located next to the town of Misano Adriatico (Province of Rimini) in the frazione of Santa Monica-Cella. Originally designed in 1969 as a length of , it hosted its first event in 1972. In 1993, the track length was increased to . Niccolò Antonelli (born 23 February 1996) is an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, who most recently competed in the 2022 Moto2 World Championship, riding for Mooney VR46 Racing Team. The 2018 FIM Moto3 World Championship was a part of the 70th F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. Joan Mir was the reigning series champion, but he did not defend his title as he joined Moto2. After winning at Sepang, Spanish rider Jorge Martín was crowned the 2018 Moto3 World Champion, having created an unassailable lead of 26 points over current runners-up Marco Bezzecchi. Tony Arbolino (born 3 August 2000) is an Italian motorcycle racer. Career Moto3 World Championship Sic58 Squadra Corse (2017) He was signed up to race in the Moto3 World Championship for the SIC58 Squadra Corse team for 2017. He scored two points in the whole season, ending up 34th in the standings. Snipers Team (2018–2020) A year later he raced for the Marinelli Snipers Team, scoring his first pole position at the second race of the season, at the Termas de Rio Hondo. Fausto Gresini (23 January 1961 – 23 February 2021) was an Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer, who was World Champion in 1985 and 1987. He was in his later years team manager for the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini MotoGP team. Motorcycle racing career Gresini was born at Imola. He began racing in 1978 at the age of 17 on a Minarelli 50 in Italy, and in 1983 he joined the Grand Prix circuit with the MBA team. During his riding career, Gresini won two world championship titles in the 125cc class in 1985 and 1987. He was vice-champion in the 125cc class in 1986 aboard a Garelli and in 1991 and 1992 with Honda. He accumulated 21 victories and raced in 132 Grand Prix with 15 second places and 11 third places. He is tied with Ángel Nieto for the record of 11 consecutive victories in the 125 class, accomplished across 1986 and 1987.
