The 2025–26 Liga Portugal 2 (also known as Liga Portugal 2 Meu Super for sponsorship reasons) will be the 36th season of Portuguese football's second-tier league and the sixth season under the current Liga Portugal 2 title. Overview Promotion and relegation (pre-season) 18 teams are competing in this division, including three reserve sides from top-flight Primeira Liga teams – fifteen teams from previous season, one team relegated from Primeira Liga and two teams promoted from Liga 3. Teams promoted to Primeira Liga Tondela and Alverca secure promotion to Primeira Liga following the results of their respective matches on 17 May 2025. Tondela beat União de Leiria and Alverca beat Portimonense. Liga Portugal 2
The Liga Portugal 2 (), also known as Liga Portugal Meu Super for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division of the Portuguese football league system. At the end of each season, the two top-finishing teams are promoted to the top-tier Primeira Liga, Liga Portugal and the two lowest-ranked teams are relegated to the third-tier league. Starting with the 2021–22 season, relegated teams will no longer compete in the Campeonato de Portugal (league), Campeonato de Portugal, which will become the fourth tier, but in a newly created third-level competition named Liga 3 (League 3). FC Porto B
Futebol Clube do Porto B, commonly known as Porto B, is a Portuguese professional football team, which serves as the reserve side of FC Porto. They compete in the Liga Portugal 2, the second division of Portuguese football, and play their home matches at the CTFD PortoGaia main pitch. As a reserve side, the team cannot compete in the same division as their senior team, thus being ineligible for promotion to the Primeira Liga. Benfica Campus (formerly Caixa Futebol Campus), also known as , is the training ground and youth academy of Portuguese football club Benfica.
