2025 Miami Open
The 2025 Miami Open is a professional hardcourt tennis tournament played from March 18 to March 30, 2025, on the grounds of Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. It will be the 40th edition of the combined men's and women's event and is classified as an ATP Masters 1000 event on the 2025 ATP Tour and a WTA 1000 event on the 2025 WTA Tour. Jannik Sinner and Danielle Collins were the reigning champions in the men's and women's singles draw, respectively. Sinner was not able to defend his title as he was serving a suspension following two positive doping tests at the 2024 Indian Wells Open, and Collins lost in the fourth round to Aryna Sabalenka. ATP Masters 1000 Tournaments
The ATP 1000 events, also known as ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, are an annual series of nine tennis tournaments featuring the top-ranked players on the ATP Tour since its inception in 1990. The ATP 1000 tournaments, sitting below the Grand Slam tournaments and the year-end championships, make up the most coveted trophies on the annual ATP Tour calendar. In addition to the quadrennial Summer Olympics, they are collectively known as the ' Big Titles'. Novak Djokovic holds the record for the most ATP 1000 singles titles with 40. The 2025 ATP Tour is the global elite men's professional tennis circuit organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for the 2025 tennis season. The 2025 ATP Tour calendar comprises the Grand Slam tournaments, supervised by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the ATP Finals, the ATP 1000, the ATP 500, the ATP 250, and the United Cup (organized with the WTA). Miyu Kato (tennis)
is a Japanese professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. On 1 January 2024, she peaked at world No. 26 in the WTA doubles rankings. Cristina Bucsa Bucsa (; born 1 January 1998) is a Moldovan-born Spanish professional tennis player. Jessica Pegula (born February 24, 1994) is an American professional tennis player.
