2025 ATP Tour
The 2025 ATP Tour is the global elite men's professional tennis circuit organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for the 2025 tennis season. The 2025 ATP Tour calendar comprises the Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournaments, supervised by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the ATP Finals, the ATP Tour Masters 1000, ATP Masters 1000, the United Cup (organized with the Women's Tennis Association, WTA), the ATP Tour 500, ATP 500 series and the ATP Tour 250, ATP 250 series. Also included in the 2025 calendar are the Davis Cup (organised by the ITF), Next Generation ATP Finals, Next Gen ATP Finals and Laver Cup, none of which distribute ranking points. Grand Slam (tennis)
The Grand Slam in tennis is the achievement of winning all four major championships in one discipline in a calendar year, also referred to as the "Calendar-year Grand Slam" or "Calendar Slam". In doubles, a team may accomplish the Grand Slam playing together or a player may achieve it with different partners. Winning all four major championships consecutively but not within the same calendar year is referred to as a "non-calendar-year Grand Slam", while winning the four majors at any point during the course of a career is known as a "Career Grand Slam". The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. As of 2020, the series includes 39 tournaments, with 250 ranking points awarded to each singles champion—which accounts for the name of the series. Grigor Dimitrov defeated Holger Rune in the final, 7–6(7–5), 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2024 Brisbane International. This was Dimitrov's second title in Brisbane (after 2017) and his first ATP Tour title overall since the 2017 ATP Finals. Kei Nishikori was the reigning champion from 2019, when the men's event was last held, but did not participate this year. Former world No. 1 and 22-time major champion Rafael Nadal made his return to the ATP Tour after almost a year out due to injury, entering the tournament as a wild card.
