Australia performed poorly in the group stage, losing to both Germany and the United States, while barely beating Zambia, the lowest ranked team in the tournament (conceding 5 goals to them). Brisbane Roar Football Club is a professional soccer club based in Brisbane, Queensland. competing in Australia's premier men's competition, A-League Men, which is the top tier Australia's football pyramid. When Queensland Lions F.C. were the only Queensland bidder for the new A League competition following the Crawford Report and the new FFA under Frank Lowy, Lions withdrew their men's team from the State Competition and entered it in to the A League. Initially competed under the name Queensland Roar before rebranding in 2009 to Brisbane Roar. Hosine Bility (born 10 May 2001) is a professional soccer player who plays as a centre-back for Brisbane Roar. Born a Liberian refugee in Guinea, he represents Australia at youth level. Early life Hosine Bility was born on 10 May 2001 in Guinea, West Africa, and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, after moving there with his family at the age of six. Lucas Herrington (born 5 September 2007) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a central defender for the A-League club Brisbane Roar. Club career Herrington is a product of the youth sides of Taringa Rovers, Toowong FC and Brisbane City FC, before moving to the academy of Brisbane Roar in 2019 where he finished his development. Asumah Abubakar-Ankrah (born 10 May 1997) is a footballer who most recently played as a forward for Australian club Brisbane Roar. Born in Ghana, he is a youth international for Portugal. Club career Born in Kumasi, Ghana, Abubakar had a successful trial with Willem II in the summer of 2015, but he had to wait to the following year to sign a contract due to work permit problems. Florin Berenguer-Bohrer (born 1 April 1989) is a French professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Australian club Brisbane Roar. Club career Berenguer trained at the youth academy of Sochaux. He began his senior career in 2009 for Dijon FCO, playing in both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Walid Shour
Walid Adel Shour (; born 10 June 1996) is a footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or centre-back for the Lebanon national team. Starting his senior career at Ahed, he was loaned out to Racing Beirut for one season in 2018–19.
